Univ.Prof. Dr. Martin Kocher

On 11 January 2021, Univ.Prof. Dr. Martin Kocher was appointed Federal Minister for Labour, Family and Youth by Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen.

With the amendent of the Ministerial Law (in German: Bundesministeriengesetz-Novelle), the agendas Family and Youth will be transferred to the Federal Chancellery. The Minister will focus on the Labour agendas, including Labour Market, Labour Law as well as Occupational Health and Safety.
