Prior to the founding of the new ministry, the Federal Chancellery was responsible for family and youth issues, whereas the Federal Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Health and Consumer Protection (now: Federal Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection) was responsible for labour issues.

Please note that the website of the Federal Ministry of Labour, Family and Youth is presently still being developed. The information is constantly being updated.
